Terms of service
These terms govern access to Body in View, operated by Scalability Inc. (“we,” “us”), at bodyinview.com and associated service pages. Contact hello@scalability.us or write to Scalability Inc., 489 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10017, United States.
Using Body in View
By creating an account or using Body in View, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Accounts are intended for users aged 18 or older using the service for professional education and supervised patient explanation.
Body in View provides anatomy visualization and clinician-led educational tools, including reference-image discussion, captured views and downloadable visit summaries. You must have authority to use the service for your clinic and comply with applicable law and professional obligations.
Professional responsibility
Body in View supports explanation and education. It does not diagnose conditions, recommend an individual treatment or replace professional judgment, examination or appropriate diagnostic testing. Anatomy, reference connections and condition illustrations are generalized and may not represent a particular patient. The professional is responsible for checking information and any annotations or summary before using or sharing it. Do not use the service for emergencies or as the sole basis for a clinical decision.
Accounts and access
Provide accurate account details and protect your sign-in credentials. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Access to an account does not confer a clinical qualification. Clinic access and any simultaneous-session limit must be stated in the plan you accept; do not assume that separate accounts automatically share one subscription.
Trial, subscriptions and cancellation
Your seven-day clinic trial begins when you create your clinic. No payment card is required, and the trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. After the trial expires, a paid subscription is required to continue using the consultation tools.
Body in View Clinic costs $29 USD per month for the subscribing clinic. When you choose to subscribe and complete Stripe Checkout, your first payment is charged immediately and your monthly paid subscription begins, even if time remains in your free trial. Existing trial dates are not extended or restarted. Review the total and billing details in Checkout before confirming payment.
By confirming a subscription, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your selected payment method until you cancel. The subscription renews automatically each month. We will give advance notice of any change to your subscription price before it applies and provide any further notice or consent required by law.
You can cancel future renewals through Manage billing in your Body in View account, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period; you retain paid access until then. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid that renewal charge. Signing out or no longer using the service does not cancel a subscription. If you cannot access the portal, contact hello@scalability.us for help.
If a payment fails or your subscription ends, consultation access may be restricted. Your account and billing settings remain available so you can resolve payment issues. For billing questions or refund requests, contact hello@scalability.us. Nothing in these terms limits any cancellation or refund rights you have under applicable law.
Your content and patient information
You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions to use reference images, clinic branding, notes and other material you supply. Only use content you are authorized to access and disclose. Review PDFs before sharing them and deliver them securely to the intended recipient.
Current reference-image and visit-summary features process consultation content in the browser tab; they are not a hosted patient-record system. Keep any records your practice is required to maintain independently. New consultation and tab reloads can clear working content. Downloaded files and printed copies remain your responsibility.
Use de-identified reference materials. Do not include patient-identifying information in account fields or support messages. Do not treat this service or these terms as a HIPAA business associate agreement or a representation of HIPAA compliance.
You retain your rights in your content. You authorize only the processing needed to provide the features you use and respond to your support requests. These terms do not grant us a right to publish your patient materials or use them in advertising.
Acceptable use
Do not bypass access restrictions, interfere with security or service operation, automate abusive requests, infringe others’ rights, upload malicious material or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, a security incident or a legal requirement, with notice where practicable and appropriate.
Our materials
The application, branding and other proprietary materials remain the property of their respective owners. Your access permits use of the service for its intended functions, not redistribution of the application or resale of its source assets. Third-party anatomy assets and other materials may have separate licenses and attribution requirements; those licenses remain in effect. Permitted patient takeaways may be created and shared through the export features, subject to applicable content rights.
Availability, changes and ending access
Features may change and the service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage of consultation content or delivery of features described as planned. Contact us to close an account; retention of account information is addressed in the privacy policy. Cancel any active subscription through Manage billing before requesting account closure. Closing your browser or deleting local data does not cancel billing.
Changes and your rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We will date published changes and provide notice or obtain agreement where required for material changes. The privacy policy explains our information practices and forms a separate notice.
